Amplify London 2024 - applications are now open!

Applications are now being accepted for Amplify London 2024, in partnership with YouTube Music. This pioneering fund supports grassroots music organisations in London providing training opportunities and industry pathways for young people.

The fund enables access to music-based projects, mentors, personal development programmes and performance spaces for young creatives across the city. Since launching in 2020 it has supported 15 grassroots organisations, and will support a further five grassroots music projects for young people across the capital during 2024.

Amplify London aims to support organisations to develop their work, forge links with the music industry and the music education sector and support young people from under-represented backgrounds into music industry careers.

Organisations providing musical training or development opportunities (for example music creation, production, technology, recording, creative career support, and live or digital performance opportunities) for young Londoners primarily aged 14-21 (with flexibility of participants up to 25) who face barriers in their music-making and need support to take their skills to the next level can now apply for a grant of up to £6,000 towards a project.

Who is this fund for?

Amplify London is for small and grassroots organisations (not individuals) with annual income of less than £500,000 per year, undertaking direct music delivery work with young people primarily aged between 14-21 (but can include participants up to the age of 25) who face barriers in their music-making. For example, by providing music creation, production, technology, recording, creative career support, and live or digital performance opportunities.

The funding is not open to schools, music education hubs or Arts Council NPOs. We are aiming to help small organisations working at grassroots level, to reach the next stage of their development.

How do I apply?

Please contact us via email by Monday 13th November to express interest in the funding (AmplifyLDN@londonmusicfund.org).
