INTERMEDIATE SCHOLARSHIPS

The Intermediate Scholarship, generously funded by the Foyle Foundation, is for committed, high-achieving Scholarship graduates who would like to continue their musical learning but would struggle to meet the ongoing costs of tuition.

This pilot scheme will offer a fifth year of funding (£1,000 per Scholar) for up to twenty graduating Scholars per year.

Eligibility

Nominees should: 

Have graduated from their Scholarship in July 2025 or will be graduating from their Scholarship in July 2026.

Be going into years 9 or 10 in September 2026.

Have demonstrated significant commitment, progress, and aptitude throughout their Scholarship.

Be working at Grade 5 level (equivalent measures will be accepted).

Be able to commit to the activities that the Intermediate Scholarship has to offer, such as mentoring, performance opportunities, and participation in LMF’s Youth Forum.

Attend a non-fee-paying London school.

Be from a family who would struggle to fund ongoing tuition.

How Do I Apply?

Intermediate Scholarship applications are submitted by London's Music Services. We cannot accept applications from parents/carers.
