We are absolutely over the moon to have jointly won ‘Outstanding Musical Initiative’ at the Music & Drama Education Awards! Though we were sad not to be able to be there in person, the LMF team enjoyed watching the online awards ceremony on Wednesday 24 March. Winning this award means the world to us. We are so proud of all the young musicians we have supported over the last ten years, and we are excited about continuing to change the lives of young Londoners through music.

We would like to thank the MDE Awards team, the award’s sponsor Classic FM, those who nominated us for this award, and everyone who has supported us over the last ten years. Congratulations to all the other winners, who you can read about here.

As our CEO Chrissy Kinsella said in her acceptance speech: “On behalf of everybody at the London Music Fund I am absolutely delighted to accept the award for Outstanding Musical Initiative. This means a huge amount, not only to the thousands of young musicians that we have worked with across London, but particularly this year which is our Ten Year Anniversary.”
