2017 Playing Day at Royal Festival Hall

65 of our Scholar’s came together  to perform their fabulous piece, created themselves, in the Clore Ballroom at Royal Festival Hall. It was an excellent day of musical creation and exploration led by ABRSM and Tim Steiner. We were delighted to welcome back a few of our graduated scholars as well as lots of our new scholars who we had previously met at October 2016. It was a fantastic chance to bring together such a range of ages and abilities who could exchange ideas and learn from each other.

The scholar’s used both improvised music created by themselves as well as incorporating a new piece commissioned for the day which stretched their musical creativity. The day provided something for everyone.
